Scrooge (スクルージ) is the main character, and bears the King's Powers. After escaping, the two cross paths with three 'ghosts', Past, Present, and Yet to Come. Along the way, he is joined by Carol, another experiment, who lends him additional power. Scrooge, a failed human experiment, attempts to escape the GHQ testing facility where he is kept.

It revolves around three main characters, known only by the code names Scrooge, Carol, and Present.

Set ten years prior to the events of Guilty Crown, this visual novel follows the Lost Christmas event, December 25, 2029.
